Aims of the Day We will take a look at where the herbs grow and how to identify them and we will discuss the medical uses of the herbs that we identify. We will also look at the different ways that herbs can be used and also experience how our senses are used in the use of herbs, i.e. smell, taste, touch. This day is aimed at all levels of herbal knowledge, from a complete novice upwards. What you need to bringA notebook or small sketch book and pencil/pen Footwear and clothing suitable for a walk in the park. A good pair of walking shoes is essential and also rainwear just in case it is needed. A packed lunch.
ItineraryThe day starts at 10.30am. The following times are all flexible, but as a guide, the workshop will be as follows: Morning Session 10.30 am to 1.30 pm Walk exploring for herbs with discussion with note taking and sketching Break for lunch Afternoon Session 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm Herb discussion and tincture making.
